Excellent! excellent! excellent! I’m a big foodie so I travel around to find the best food spots with my best friend. The food, service and ambiance were top tier. Definitely my favorite Korean Bbq spot in the Bay Area. Chris was amazing. Chris the GM was cooking our food, bussin tables and making sure my drive from Sacramento was worth it. Setting a great example for his staff and working well as a team. Thank you Chris for providing an experience. All the other staff were very friendly. We will be back :)

Just finished up my early bday dinner with my family, the food and service did not disappoint. The staff went above and beyond to even cutting our meat for us when it was done cooking. Thank you Don Blanc.

Really good quality meat and banchan - I like that you order what you want vs AYCE. The service here is always on point and they are super friendly. Get the rice at the end with your leftovers - so worth it

There was a charcoal Korean BBQ restaurant here and it’s now became 2 separate restaurants. This is the BBQ one while the other is a bistro type that offers set plates like noodles and rice cakes. This one is not using charcoal anymore but Ga’s stove on table with a convex iron wok. Instead of bbq it piece by piece by ourselves, the waiter will put whatever meat ordered on the hot plate at once (of course, one kind at a time). The quality of the meats are good. We’ve ordered thin wagyu beef slices, LA ribs with small bones and flavored pork (serve cooked on a separate iron plate). Taste not bad at all, but, personally, I do miss the previous charcoal flavor a lot. The small dishes, mostly Korean pickles, are very tasty. However, not like the previous owner, they will only refill them as asked with a empty plate. One special item has to be credited is the fried rice at the end. Waiter will and some bean spouts along with very dark house sauce on the iron plate and let them stir fried with the juice and sauce left on the plate. Then add rice on top of the sautéed veggies and flatten them after well mix together. Taste really good though.

Great quality meat and sides! We got the Beef Set A and an order small intestines and thought it was a good amount for two people. My favorite was the marinated boneless short ribs, but everything else was also good, especially with the sides. Service was incredible and our server even let us try large intestines free of charge (not shown in the picture), which we ended up loving!

It’s always a good time coming here with delicious food and lots of drinks, including beer and soju! The huge beef ribs are tender and delicious, the pork jowl is just the right amount of flavor and chewiness. I would always come back here to eat delicious meat and be served as well by the courteous staff

This is a good, casual KBBQ experience for a group. Not the tastiest or the best bang for buck, but definitely serves as a good fix. We had a reservation for five and a toddler on a Friday night and were seated pretty quickly. Parking spaces were tight in the lot but fortunately there was a lot of street parking a couple blocks away. We ordered the supreme set A, a seafood pancake, corn cheese and bossom to share. Between us we shared a grill and had our designated cooks at the table (which is how we prefer it but some might prefer a place that cooks for you). The highlight was easily the galbi (as if often is) and we did wish that the bossom was a little less dry. The others were good (as expected) but nothing to write home about. The banchan was also very standard. Service wise, the waiters were a little slow to take our order and to give refills (for water, lettuce, etc.). Though, the yogurt soju special for our friend’s birthday was a really nice touch. Like most KBBQ places, it’s helpful to bring your own bags for your clothes as the hoods aren’t the strongest, and it can get loud, but again - it’s a fairly standard experience.

Solid Korean BBQ in the East Bay! I visited this spot with my buddy after having the desire to find a good Korean BBQ spot in the East Bay. We got there early, so getting a table was a breeze. This spot specializes in pork, but we also ordered Jumuluk (beef) as well. The Banchan arrived at the table, all looked fresh and very tasty. The Kim chi was awesome. Presentation of the food was good and the meat were all marinated perfectly. Service was solid and helped us navigate the menu with some recommendations and the restaurant itself was well equipped to handle the smoke, so you didn’t leave smelling like a complete BBQ unit. This place is a must try in the East Bay!!!
